I started karate when I was 13 or so. I was really looking forward to it until I actually had to go to the first session, which made me really nervous! After the first class I realised there was nothing to be worried about in the first place, I had a fantastic time and really felt welcome. Since then karate in Llanidloes has always been the thing I look forward to each week. I've definitely gained a lot of confidence and feel I can look after myself much better now. I've never felt bored or like I might want to stop, the classes go at a pace for you to keep up with, and have regular gradings to keep you enthusiastic and show you how you've improved.

My son and I have been training now for a few months and I have to say we feel so at home here. Such a friendly and positive atmosphere. Thank you Lee and fellow trainees. Looking forward to many more years training. Today was a favourite so far.

Lee Taylor is one of a small number of people that I would unreservedly recommend to anyone seeking high quality functional karate. Lee combines strong traditional technique, solid realism and deep understanding to teach karate in the way it should be, but so rarely is. I have known Lee for quite some time now and have been fortunate to train alongside him and have him as a student.
